RAM 2780 tilting spreader is designed to handle single 20ft ISO hatch containers and conventional 20ft ISO containers. The spreader provides a cost effective solution to handle bulk materials quickly.
The RAM 2780 tilting spreader is designed to handle 20ft standard ISO hatch containers and conventional 20ft ISO containers, on a jib and mobile harbour cranes. The tilting spreader has a safe working load of 35 tonnes.
The spreader is equipped with four hydraulic flippers at each end to guide the spreader onto the container. An additional flipper guide is fitted at one end of the spreader to support the special container trap door before releasing the hatch at the desired angle, gently decanting the commodity in the process.
The spreader is fitted with high-performance hydraulic power units, which are used to operate the ISO floating twistlocks,
sliding post, tilting post and flipper gather guides.
The tilting spreader design provides a cost-effective solution to handle bulk materials quickly.
