In a new case study, Solurail Logistics Inc. shares their experience using the RAM Revolver Containerised Bulk Handling system to support a critical lithium mine pit-to-rail operation in northern Québec.
Working in temperatures ranging from over 40°C in summer to below –40°C in winter, Solurail credits RAM Spreaders’ equipment quality, technical expertise, and after-sales support with enabling reliable, low-loss, high-volume bulk handling in one of the toughest operating environments in North America.
For Solurail Logistics Inc., a Canadian specialist in road and rail logistics, that reality includes large-scale lithium transloading operations in northern Québec, where temperatures can range from above 40°C in summer to below –40°C in winter. In a recent pit-to-rail project, Solurail implemented a Containerised Bulk Handling solution using the RAM Revolver, a decision they say was strongly influenced by both equipment capability and supplier support.
Reflecting on the project, Solurail noted that they were “highly impressed by the quality of service provided during the acquisition of the RAM Revolver and the Containerised Bulk Handling system, particularly their after-sales support and technical expertise.” According to Solurail, this support enabled the successful execution of “large-scale transloading projects totalling several hundred thousand tons per year, even under extreme climate conditions.”
Beyond throughput, Solurail also highlighted operational precision and material integrity, reporting “minimal dust generation,” significantly reduced product loss and contamination risk, and an increase in the volume of material delivered to its final destination. The company concluded that it is “fully satisfied with this collaboration,” underscoring the role that reliable equipment and responsive technical support can play in demanding bulk logistics environments.
