RAM2700 Telescopic Twin Lift Spreader for MHC
The RAM 2700 Series for use on Mobile Harbour Cranes is designed in accordance with DIN 15018. Manufactured from high quality steel and components, the spreader provides robust and reliable operations in demanding container terminal environments.
The spreader is attached to the Mobile Harbour Crane hook rotator and designed to interface with the cranes electrical communication system.
The spreader is electro-hydraulically operated with all functions of the spreader controlled from the crane operator’s cabin.
A robust centre of gravity post is fitted to the spreader. This hydraulically controlled system allows containers that are unevenly loaded to be adjusted by the crane operator during the lifting process.
The twin lift spreaders RAM2740 is capable of handling 20ft / 40ft single containers, whilst the RAM 2750 | 2760 are both capable of handling 45ft containers.
Twin lift telescopic spreaders are fitted with retractable twin lift housings enabling the spreader to handle two 20ft containers, whilst the RAM2760 twin lift model has the added benefit of CentreSpread®, enabling the spreader to adjust the gap between two 20ft containers.
Six high torque hydraulically retractable gather guides are fitted resulting in two side guides fitted on each end and one guide at each corner of the spreader to aid alignment to the container.
ISO floating twistlocks allow the crane operator to quickly locate and lock the spreader onto a container.
All RAM spreaders are manufactured at our purpose built production facility in accordance with ISO 9001:2008:2008, ISO 14001;2004 and DIN 18800-7 welding standard.
All spreaders are fully load tested, function tested and are delivered together with operation and maintenance manuals and associated certification.
